We booked the Coastline boat trip with our family of 4 and there was just 1 other person joining. In the beginning I thought: oh no, such a small boat! But that turned out to be super nice. We had great interaction with our captain Leo who was super happy and he made it feel like a private tour. We could choose between different options and the music we wanted to listed to. He pointed us to the best hidden caves. And I can imagine that all the girls in their twenties would definitely want to book with this captain ;).

Everything was spectacular. Captain George and his partner were incredible, very friendly, and didn’t miss a single detail. They gave us Aragua (a local drink), food, soft drinks, snorkeling gear… Also, due to the bad weather, we couldn’t go to Grama Beach, and they offered us the option of doing Pirates Cave and Porto Palermo, or doing it another day. Finally, other tours are more expensive, and the boats are much more crowded.

Our captain was friendly, funny, patient, and very professional. He made everyone feel comfortable and shared interesting information throughout the trip. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop.

We went on an incredible coastline tour today with Leo, Marinus, Emily and Alys. Even before the trip the staff at Himara Water Taxi was so accommodating – there were no more spots available on the normal coastline tour so we were offered an option to participate in a shorter tour with an additional hour on the boat to make up for the missed elements. The tour itself was of course the best part. Leo and Marius were great tour guides – friendly, funny and happy to offer explanations of the sites around us. All the staff were friendly – the lady at the kiosk wasnt too pushy and didn’t try to upsell, also recommended some great restaurants to try. Kostas and Paris on the boat were friendly and approachable and made the whole trip run in a smooth and relaxing way.

Anthony was our captain today and he took time showing us around the beautiful coastline of Himare. There is so much to see and we were taken to a couple of turquoise-watered secluded beaches only accessible by boat/ kayak for a dip. ( in my opinion the best beaches in Albania – especially away from the crowds & rubbish).
The pirates cave and St Theodore’s caves were beautiful rock formations that we were taken in to!
The private tour was a total of euro 140, but we were given the option to join a group tour (with only 4 other people) for 20 euros per person. Worth every penny!
